PLATTSBURGH — A 46-year-old Plattsburgh man was arrested July 28 on a warrant alleging he violated the terms of his probation.
Jason C. Sawyer was taken into custody by Clinton County Sheriff’s deputies at 3:12 p.m., according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.
Sawyer was placed on probation following his conviction of criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance on Aug. 28, 2024.
He was brought before Plattsburgh City Court for arraignment and released on his own recognizance.
Sawyer is scheduled to reappear in Plattsburgh City Court at a later date to face the allegations.
