Revere police arrest 2 men in armed disturbance at grocery store

REVERE — Police arrested two men following reports of an armed disturbance at a Stop and Shop grocery store on Furlong Drive.

Officers responded to the incident at 36 Furlong Dr. and arrested a 25-year-old Revere man and a 26-year-old East Boston man.

Police seized a loaded 9mm Glock handgun, three high-capacity magazines, 45 rounds of ammunition and a knife from the suspects.

The names of the arrested individuals were not immediately released.

No injuries were reported in the incident.
