LITTLETON — A 33-year-old Littleton man was arrested on child exploitation charges following the execution of a search warrant at his home on July 17.
Sam Goodness was charged with six counts of possession of child sexual abuse images after investigators with the Littleton Police Department and New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force searched his residence at 3 Union Street.
The search warrant was issued as part of an investigation into possession of child sexual abuse images, distribution of child sexual abuse images and aggravated felonious sexual assault.
Investigators seized multiple items of evidence and conducted several interviews during the search.
Police said the initial charges reflect only a small portion of the suspected illegal content found during the investigation.
Goodness was transported to the Grafton County House of Corrections and held on preventive detention.
He waived his scheduled probable cause hearing on Monday, July 28.
The case was initially filed with Littleton District Court but will be bound over to Grafton County Superior Court due to the felonious nature of the crimes.
The Grafton County Attorney’s Office will assume prosecution of the case.
Additional charges are anticipated as the investigation continues.
Anyone with information related to the exploitation of children is urged to contact their local police department or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 1-800-843-5678.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
