Rhode Island man arrested on domestic violence warrants in Exeter

EXETER — Troopers arrested a 64-year-old Rhode Island man Tuesday on two outstanding warrants related to domestic violence charges.

Daniel Lavasseur of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, was taken into custody at 11:20 a.m. July 29 at the Zinnia Center.

Lavasseur was arrested on a Superior Court bench warrant for a technical violation on an original charge of domestic violence vandalism from the Pawtucket Police Department.

He also faced a second Superior Court bench warrant for failure to appear for restitution review on the original domestic violence vandalism charge from Pawtucket police.

Lavasseur was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks for processing.

He was then taken to the ACI Men’s Intake Center.
