Massena man arrested in Potsdam vehicle break-ins

POTSDAM — Members of the New York State Police arrested 38-year-old Torrey R. Jackson from Massena for grand larceny in the fourth degree on July 27.

Troopers responded to a report of larceny from a vehicle on Lakeshore Drive in the town of Potsdam on July 26 at approximately 3:08 a.m.

During their investigation, Troopers conducted interviews in the area and discovered that several vehicles had been broken into, with items and money stolen from them.

The investigation revealed that Jackson had broken into multiple vehicles, stealing approximately $2,600 in total.

Jackson was arrested and taken to the State Police barracks in Massena for processing.

He was subsequently arraigned in the Town of Massena Court and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility.
