SPRINGFIELD — A 20-year-old Newport City woman was arrested on multiple charges including driving under the influence while transporting a 2-year-old child, police said.

Hailey C. Tullis was taken into custody at 9:18 p.m. July 16 after Officer Freeman stopped her vehicle for having no taillights illuminated while traveling eastbound on River Street.
