RICHMOND — Vermont State Police responded to a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 89 southbound near mile marker 77 at 5:11 p.m. Thursday.
The crash involved Elizabeth Davis, 36, of Jericho, driving a 2024 Honda CR-V; a juvenile driving a 2022 Ram 1500; and Tyler Austin, 38, of Waterbury, driving a 2023 Chevrolet Silverado.
All three vehicles were traveling southbound when traffic began slowing for a disabled truck on the right shoulder.
Davis was following the juvenile’s vehicle too closely and rear-ended the Ram, according to police.
The impact caused the Ram to rear-end Austin’s Silverado.
Davis’s Honda sustained front-end damage, while the Ram had front-end and rear-end damage and the Silverado had rear-end damage.
No injuries were reported in the crash.
All drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the collision.
Road conditions were dry and weather was clear.
