GREENWICH — State Police arrested a Fort Ann, New York man Thursday on charges of possessing child sexual exploitation material.
Jeremy L. Fredette, 28, was charged with possessing a sexual performance by a child, a class E felony.
The arrest followed an investigation that began with a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
State Police worked with the Troop G Computer Crimes Unit and the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce on the case.
Fredette was processed at the Greenwich barracks and issued an appearance ticket.
He was released and is scheduled to appear in Fort Ann Town Court on Aug. 20.
