BALLSTON — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office arrested a local man Thursday on a felony charge of criminal contempt in the first degree.
William K. Wilson, 56, of Ballston Spa, is accused of violating an order of protection by telephoning the protected person on several occasions between August and October while incarcerated at the Saratoga County Jail.
Wilson was arraigned before the Honorable Timothy M. Brown in Milton Town Court.
He was remanded back to the Saratoga County Jail pending further proceedings.
Criminal contempt in the first degree is a class E felony.
