COLCHESTER — A Mongaup Valley, New York woman was arrested July 3 for driving with a suspended license during a traffic safety checkpoint.
Jessica Horton was charged with aggravated unlicensed operator in the third degree, an unclassified misdemeanor, according to the Colchester Police Department.
Police conducted the checkpoint with the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office when an officer observed Horton’s vehicle had an expired New York inspection sticker.
During the traffic stop, the officer discovered Horton’s New York driving privileges were suspended.
Horton also received traffic summons for uninspected motor vehicle and unlicensed operator.
She was released and is scheduled to appear in Colchester Town Court at a later date.
