CHELSEA — The Chelsea Police Department’s Drug Unit executed a court-authorized search warrant at 68 Orange Street on Thursday as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation.
Jordy Ramos Romero, 27, was taken into custody without incident during the operation conducted with assistance from the Revere Police Drug Unit.
Officers recovered one unlawfully possessed firearm, approximately 68 grams of crack cocaine and $9,600 in suspected drug proceeds during the search.
Romero is being charged with multiple offenses including trafficking a Class B substance and unlawful possession of a firearm.
He is expected to be arraigned in Chelsea District Court on Monday.
