UTICA — Utica Police responded to the 400 block of Columbia St at approximately 10:35 a.m. April 27 regarding a criminal mischief complaint involving significant vehicle damage.
The victim reported discovering damage to their vehicle’s windshield and multiple dents after returning to the car.
Because of the extent of the damage, the case was referred to the department’s Criminal Investigations Division.
After an investigation conducted with assistance from patrol officers, police identified Ramcin Leon, 46, of Utica, as a suspect.
On July 24, Leon was located and taken into custody.
He has been charged with criminal mischief in the third degree.
