WATERBURY — Two suspects were arrested Saturday in connection with a stolen vehicle on Washington Street.
Waterbury Police Department patrol officers responded to the area of Washington Street and River Street at approximately 1 p.m. for a report of a suspicious vehicle.
Officers identified the occupants as Oscar Rosado, 41, and Roberto Roman, 35, both of Waterbury.
The vehicle was confirmed to have been reported stolen out of Bridgeport.
Further investigation revealed Rosado was in possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia.
Roberto Roman was charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle and remains in the custody of the Connecticut Department of Correction.
Oscar Rosado was charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle, possession of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia, interfering with an officer and multiple motor vehicle violations.
Rosado was also served with a failure to appear warrant for a scheduled court appearance that he did not attend.
He also remains in the custody of the Connecticut Department of Correction.
