PROVIDENCE — Members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Elliot T. Marzette, 34, of 823 Potters Avenue on July 23 on an arrest warrant for aggravated assault with a weapon.
Marzette was taken into custody without incident and turned over to Providence Police Department members on scene.
The warrant was issued by the Providence Police Department for aggravated assault with a weapon involving a shooting.
In a separate case, the ACI Investigations Unit charged Nathanel Lavoie, 42, with last known address of 19 Grove Street, Providence, as a fugitive from justice from California on July 23.
Lavoie was arraigned in Third Division District Court, where he waived extradition proceedings.
He was remanded to the ACI pending his return to California.
