Vermont woman seriously injured in Hudson boat crash

HUDSON — A Vermont woman suffered a serious leg injury in a boat crash Monday afternoon.

At 3:04 p.m. July 21, New Hampshire State Police dispatch received a report of a boating accident with personal injury on Robinson Pond.

The preliminary investigation determined that a Bass Tracker boat operated by Terry Tetreault, 69, of Hudson, and carrying four passengers, collided with a floating swim platform.

The reasons for the collision remain under investigation.

The impact of the crash resulted in one passenger, Kelley Brooks, 54, of Glover, being thrown from the vessel.

Brooks sustained a serious leg injury and was transported via medical helicopter to a hospital for treatment.

New Hampshire State Police Marine Patrol was assisted by Troop B troopers, Hudson Police Department members, and Hudson Fire and Rescue.

All aspects of the crash remain under investigation.
