POTSDAM — New York State Police arrested Daniel R. Jordan, 29, of Massena, on July 21 for burglary in the third degree and grand larceny in the fourth degree.
State police responded to Walmart on U.S. Highway 11 in Potsdam at approximately 4:19 p.m. on July 17 for a burglary incident.
An investigation determined Jordan entered the store when he did not have permission to be there.
Jordan was observed in possession of merchandise he did not pay for while in the store.
Jordan passed all points of sale with approximately $1,600 worth of merchandise without paying.
He fled the scene before law enforcement arrived.
Jordan was arrested and processed at State Police Canton.
He was released on appearance tickets returnable to Potsdam Town Court for a date in August.
Jordan was remanded to St. Lawrence County Jail due to an active St. Lawrence County Court warrant from a separate incident while awaiting arraignment.
