PORTLAND — Portland police responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Cumberland Farms on 801 Washington Avenue at 3:16 a.m. Tuesday.
An employee told police a man entered the store and was about to purchase a drink when he pointed a gun at the cashier and demanded cash.
The suspect left the store with an undisclosed amount of money and headed toward Ocean Avenue.
Police described the suspect as a white male, 5’10” and approximately 30-40 years old.
