Rhode Island man arrested on cocaine charges in Lincoln

LINCOLN — Members of the HIDTA Task Force arrested Carlos Depina, 52, of 204 East Street, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, on Monday on drug charges.

Depina was charged with possession with the intent to deliver 1 ounce to 1 kilogram of a Schedule II controlled substance – cocaine.

He also faces charges of possession with the intent to deliver a Schedule II controlled substance – cocaine and controlled substance conspiracy.

Depina was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and transported to Sixth Division District Court for arraignment.

He will be presented as a probation violator, according to Major Kenneth M. Moriarty, detective commander.
