SOUTH WINDSOR — The East Central Narcotics Task Force, in collaboration with the Drug Enforcement Administration Hartford Office and the DEA Tactical Diversion Squad, arrested three people July 19 in connection with a sophisticated drug trafficking organization.
Pascious Mink, 34, of Enfield, was arrested on charges including criminal possession of firearms, operating a drug factory and numerous counts of possession with intent to distribute.
Mink was held on $750,000 surety bond.
Tony Broaden, 41, of Enfield, was arrested and charged with sale of narcotics and possession with intent to distribute.
Broaden was held on $400,000 bond.
Sonia Rodriguez, 45, of Hartford, was arrested for possession with intent to distribute.
Rodriguez was released on $10,000 bond.
The multi-year investigation targeted trafficking of cocaine and fentanyl, as well as diversion and unlawful distribution of pharmaceutical drugs including oxycodone.
Authorities said Mink allegedly operated a network that used multiple commercial businesses to facilitate illegal drug distribution.
Law enforcement officers searched Kenco Spirits at 17 Main Street and two residential properties tied to the investigation.
The operation resulted in seizure of two firearms, a high-capacity drum magazine, substantial amounts of ammunition and more than 1,000 oxycodone pills.
Officers also seized additional diverted pharmaceuticals including Xanax and other controlled substances, crack cocaine, fentanyl and MDMA packaged for street-level distribution.
More than $25,000 in cash was also seized.
Mink and Broaden will appear at Manchester Superior Court on Monday.
