DUNDEE — A 22-year-old Dundee man was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge Saturday afternoon during a medical emergency involving a child.

Dakota A. Oshaughnessy was taken into custody at 3:35 p.m. at Oakwood Estates Trailer Park, according to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies had responded to the trailer park for a medical emergency involving a child when they encountered Oshaughnessy, who was yelling and behaving in a disorderly manner, authorities said.

Despite efforts to deescalate the situation, Oshaughnessy became increasingly agitated and attempted to initiate a physical altercation with another individual, according to the sheriff’s office.

He was issued an appearance ticket for disorderly conduct, a violation.

Oshaughnessy is scheduled to appear in Starkey Town Court at a later date.
