LINCOLN — Rhode Island State Police made three arrests over the weekend on charges ranging from driving under the influence to credit card fraud.
On Saturday at 7:34 p.m., troopers arrested Carlos Delgado Alves, 54, of 35 Tiffany Street, Central Falls, following a motor vehicle stop on Hazel Street in Pawtucket.
Delgado Alves was charged with driving under the influence of liquor, first offense, and refusal to submit to a chemical test, second offense.
He was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned as a bail violator by the Justice of the Peace, and transported to the Adult Correctional Institution Men’s Intake Center.
On Saturday at 9:09 p.m., troopers arrested Dajuana Purdie, 59, of 66 Ledge Street apartment #3F, Providence, following a barracks investigation.
The Providence Police Department located Purdie.
Purdie was charged with obtaining money by false pretense, fraudulent use of credit card, obtaining credit card through fraudulent means, and fraudulent use of food stamps.
She was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Sixth Division District Court.
On Sunday at 2:22 a.m., troopers arrested Jose Gramajo, 25, of 14 Libia Street, Providence, for reckless driving following a motor vehicle stop on Atwells Avenue in Providence.
Gramajo was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Sixth Division District Court.
