WAWAYANDA — A 66-year-old Slate Hill man died after his vehicle struck a telephone pole on Ridgebury Road on July 16.
State Police were called to the scene at approximately 11:47 a.m. for a report of a one-car crash.
An investigation determined that Kevin P. Demarest was the sole occupant of a vehicle traveling southwest on Ridgebury Road when he exited the road for an unknown reason and struck a telephone pole.
Demarest was transported to Garnet Health Medical Center where he later died.
The investigation is ongoing.
