HASTINGS — New York State Police responded to a one-vehicle crash on Interstate 81 southbound at about 6:12 p.m. July 16.
A preliminary investigation determined that a vehicle, operated by a single female occupant, was traveling northbound on Interstate 81 when it crossed into the median, overturned multiple times, and came to rest in the center of the southbound lane.
The operator was transported to Upstate Hospital in critical condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
