Wells River woman arrested on multiple warrants

WELLS RIVER — Vermont State Police arrested a 39-year-old woman on multiple outstanding warrants July 11.

Troopers from the St. Johnsbury barracks were alerted to the presence of a wanted person on Main Street in Wells River.

Police located Cassandra Carbee, who had several outstanding warrants for her arrest.

The warrants included failure to appear on charges of domestic assault with $500 bail, violation of conditions of release with $200 bail, and disorderly conduct with $200 bail.

Carbee was placed under arrest and transported to Orange Superior Court for arraignment.

Following arraignment, Carbee was ordered held at the Northeast Regional Correctional Facility in lieu of $900 bail.
