BRIGHTON — An 18-year-old Irondequoit man was arrested after crashing a stolen vehicle on S. Winton Road following a pursuit that began when the vehicle’s owner spotted his car being driven in Rochester.
Marjuan Timmons was charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 4th degree, a Class E Felony, after losing control of the stolen vehicle and crashing.
The vehicle owner observed his car being operated in Rochester and followed it into Brighton, where the crash occurred.
Timmons was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Brighton Police Department responded to the crash and determined during their investigation that the vehicle had been stolen.
Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact 911 and request to speak with a Brighton supervisor.
