NORTH HAVEN — Police are investigating an armed robbery at a gas station and a commercial burglary at a jewelry store that occurred within hours of each other.
Officers responded to an armed robbery at the RoadRunner gas station at 1915 Hartford Turnpike on July 14, according to the North Haven Police Department.
No serious injuries were sustained in the robbery.
Detectives processed the scene and the case remains ongoing.
At approximately 1 a.m. July 15, officers patrolling the North Haven Shopping Plaza on Washington Avenue heard an audible alarm at Arnold’s Jewelers.
Upon checking the business, officers determined a commercial burglary had just occurred.
Detectives responded to process that scene as well.
