Motorcyclist dies in crash on Troy’s 2nd Avenue

TROY — A 39-year-old Albany man died Thursday evening after losing control of his motorcycle and striking a parked vehicle on 2nd Avenue.

Troy police patrol officers responded to the crash around 6:30 p.m. in the area of 2nd Avenue and 107th Street.

Officers found the motorcyclist on the ground with serious injuries and provided emergency medical aid.

The Troy Fire Department continued treatment at the scene.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police identified the victim as Kyran J. Nardolillo of Albany.

Detectives determined preliminarily that Nardolillo was traveling south on 2nd Avenue when he lost control of his motorcycle.

The motorcycle struck a parked and unoccupied vehicle.

Detectives are continuing to investigate to determine the cause of the crash.
