2 arrested on drug, weapons charges after traffic stop in Lincoln

LINCOLN — Two people were arrested on drug and weapons charges after a traffic stop Wednesday afternoon in the Limerock area.

Lincoln Police officers observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed near Route 146 at approximately 2:45 p.m. July 10.

Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop and identified the occupants as Evan Tucker, 30, of Providence, Rhode Island, and Sabrina Biscoglio, 31, of Port St. Lucie, Florida.

A search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of a 9mm pistol and a significant quantity of narcotics, according to police.

Officers seized approximately 190 grams of methamphetamine, 9 grams of ketamine, 8 grams of cocaine, drug paraphernalia, a digital scale and a large quantity of U.S. currency.

Tucker and Biscoglio were both charged with possession with intent to deliver, possession of a firearm while committing a controlled substance violation and conspiracy.

Tucker faces additional charges of possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, obstruction of a police officer and resisting arrest.
