ONEONTA — A 39-year-old Oneonta woman was arrested July 3 on felony charges following a larceny investigation at Walmart in the Town of Oneonta.
Jacqueline R. Barkman was charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree, burglary in the third degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and criminal trespass, according to the Otsego County Sheriff’s Office.
Barkman allegedly removed more than $1,000 worth of merchandise without paying, authorities said.
During the investigation, Barkman was also found to be in possession of a controlled substance, according to the sheriff’s office.
Barkman was processed and given an appearance ticket to appear at Oneonta Town Court at a later date.
