BUFFALO — Erie County Sheriff John C. Garcia reports the arrest of Arandas Everette, 50, of Buffalo after an investigation by the Erie County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics and Intelligence Unit.
Homeland Security Investigations, the Buffalo Police Department and Erie Crime Analysis Center assisted.
Everette is accused of selling a quantity of cocaine to an undercover officer in Buffalo on two separate occasions.
On July 8, a search warrant signed by Hon. Peter Savage of Buffalo City Court was executed.
Law enforcement recovered in excess of 500 milligrams of suspected cocaine, drug paraphernalia and U.S. currency on Everette’s person while he was at Erie County Probation.
Everette was taken into custody without incident.
Additionally, a scale, jewelry and U.S. currency were recovered in a residence at 88 Sidney St. in Buffalo.
On July 9, an additional search warrant for a 2006 Toyota Sienna signed by Hon. James Bargnesi of Erie County Court was executed.
Law enforcement recovered in excess of 500 milligrams of suspected cocaine, baggies and cutting agents.
Everette has been charged with 3rd degree Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance (2 counts), 3rd degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance (2 counts), 5th degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance (2 counts) and 2nd degree Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia (4 counts).
Everette is currently held at the Erie County Holding Center.
