CORTLANDVILLE — A 41-year-old woman died after her vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole on Sears Road on July 7.
Jessica Peer was traveling on Sears Road at approximately 10:53 p.m. when the crash occurred, according to the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office.
Peer succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Town of Cortlandville Fire Department, TLC Ambulance, Kaylee’s Towing, National Grid and the Cortland County Coroner’s Office.
The sheriff’s office continues to investigate the crash.
