BERKLEY — The Berkley Police Department, in coordination with the Newport, Rhode Island Police Department, with assistance from Plymouth County Sheriff’s Bureau of Criminal Investigations and Bristol County Sheriff’s K9 unit executed search and arrest warrants related to an ongoing investigation targeting high-end retail theft.
Detectives obtained a search warrant for a residential address in Berkley based on evidence gathered during the investigation.
During the search, officers discovered substantial amounts of high-value merchandise, including designer clothing, jewelry, and electronics, all believed to be linked to thefts.
Two suspects were taken into custody without incident.
The joint operation resulted in the successful execution of multiple warrants today in Berkley.
