WORCESTER — Vice Squad officers executed search warrants July 10 at a Grant Street residence and vehicle, leading to the arrest of a 35-year-old man on drug trafficking charges.
Officers observed Joel Alvarado Santos exit the residence and enter his vehicle at about 9:30 a.m.
Police pulled over the vehicle on Hollis Street and executed the search warrant.
Inside the residence, officers located a large amount of what appeared to be fentanyl wrapped in several individual bags.
Officers also found a digital scale and packaging materials.
Alvarado Santos was arrested for trafficking in a Class A substance over 200 grams.
