Police arrest Saco man on warrants in Biddeford

BIDDEFORD — A Saco man was arrested early Monday morning after police received reports of someone attempting to break into vehicles.

The Biddeford Regional Communications Center received a call at approximately 12:41 a.m. July 8 from a resident reporting that a male was trying to gain access to vehicles in the area of Leon Street.

Officers located 28-year-old Robert Roux of Saco in the area and arrested him on multiple warrants.

The warrants stemmed from charges including burglary of a motor vehicle, theft and probation revocation.

Additional charges are expected as the investigation continues.

Roux was transported to the York County Jail.
