PLATTSBURGH — Members of the New York State Police arrested 55-year-old Andre R. Levesque from Lyon Mountain for grand larceny in the fourth degree on July 8.
Troopers responded to a report of larceny on Smithfield Boulevard in the town of Plattsburgh on July 7 at approximately 2:15 p.m.
An investigation revealed that Levesque had entered the UPS Store, checked his mailbox, and noticed a large box nearby.
He then left the store, taking the large box with him.
Further investigation determined that the box contained a bike that did not belong to Levesque.
Levesque was arrested and transported to SP Plattsburgh.
He was arraigned in the Town of Plattsburgh Court and subsequently remanded to Clinton County Jail without bail.
