Livonia man arrested on grand larceny charges following business theft

LIVONIA — Sheriff Thomas J. Dougherty reports the arrest of a Niagara County resident on felony charges following an investigation by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office.

On June 12, Livingston County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a business on Big Tree Road in the Town of Livonia for the report of a larceny that had occurred.

Sheriff’s Investigators began an investigation into the Grand Larceny, and through the investigation, the suspect was identified as 29-year-old Jonathan Glenn from the Town of Barker.

On July 8, Investigator James Merrick arrested Glenn and charged him with felony Grand Larceny in the Third Degree.

Glenn was transported to the Livingston County Jail, where he was turned over to Central Booking Deputies for processing and pre-arraignment detention.

Glenn was later arraigned at the Livingston County Centralized Arraignment Part at the Livingston County Jail before Town of Leicester Justice Durbin.

The Judge released Glenn on his own recognizance, as the offense did not qualify for bail under the NYS Bail Reform Act.

The Livingston County Public Defender’s Office was present and represented Glenn at the court arraignment for his defense.

The Livingston County District Attorney’s Office was also present to represent the People.
