LIVONIA — Sheriff Thomas J. Dougherty reports the arrest of a Livonia resident on felony burglary charges following an investigation by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office.
On June 17 at approximately 11:59 a.m., Livingston County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a business on Grove Street in the Village of Livonia for the report of a burglary.
It was also reported that a person had illegally entered the business and stolen multiple items, including a safe and money.
On July 7, Investigator Ross Gerace arrested 32-year-old Timothy Wells and charged him with two counts of Burglary in the Third Degree and two counts of Petit Larceny.
Wells was transported and turned over to Central Booking Deputies at the Livingston County Jail for arrest processing and pre-arraignment detention.
Wells was later arraigned at the Livingston County Centralized Arraignment Part (LC-CAP) at the Livingston County Jail before Town of Leicester Justice Durbin.
The Judge did remand Wells to the custody of the Sheriff without the possibility of bail due to him having two or more prior felony convictions.
