BOSTON — Boston police have located 84-year-old Antonio Toribio of Roxbury who had been reported missing Monday.
Toribio was last seen July 8 at 11 a.m. in the area of 757 Shawmut Avenue in Roxbury.
He was wearing a red baseball hat, red shirt and gray suit when he disappeared.
Police said Toribio has Alzheimer’s disease and is known to frequent barber shops on Blue Hill Avenue and barber shops near Tremont Street and Melnea Cass Boulevard.
The Boston Police Department had been actively working to locate Toribio and had urged anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to call 911 or contact District B-2 Detectives at (617) 343-4328.
