UTICA — Police have identified the victim in a July 4 homicide as Rogereale Howard, 39, of Utica.
The Utica Police Department released the victim’s name in an update on the ongoing investigation.
Howard was killed in what police described as an active homicide investigation that also involves a second non-fatal shooting.
Police said the investigation into Howard’s death and the non-fatal shooting remains ongoing.
