West Greenwich woman arrested on embezzlement warrants after traffic stop

WEST GREENWICH — Troopers arrested a Pawtucket woman on multiple embezzlement warrants following a traffic stop Sunday morning.

Cynthia Santiago, 41, of 566 Armistice Boulevard, Pawtucket, was arrested at 11:35 a.m. July 6 during a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 North.

Santiago was wanted on an active affidavit and arrest warrant for embezzlement over $100 originating from the Rhode Island Attorney General’s Office.

She also faced an active bench warrant for embezzlement over $100 from the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks.

Santiago was transported to Hope Valley Barracks for processing.

She was later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution — Women’s Intake Center.
