PROVIDENCE — Troopers arrested Ashley Kazana, age 33, of Pawtucket on Sunday at 3:45 p.m. for outstanding arrest warrants.
Kazana was arrested during a motor vehicle stop on Thurber’s Avenue in Providence.
She faced an affidavit arrest warrant from the Pawtucket Police Department on a charge of obstructing court order and an affidavit arrest warrant from the Providence Police Department on a charge of simple assault.
Kazana was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and turned over to the Pawtucket Police Department.
In a separate incident Sunday at 10:19 p.m., troopers arrested Georgia Stanford, age 72, of Providence for violation of a protection order.
Stanford was arrested during a motor vehicle stop on Somerset Street in Providence.
She was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Sixth Division District Court arraignment date.
