Provincetown police investigate possible hate crime attack on Bradford Street

PROVINCETOWN — The Provincetown Police Department is investigating a possible hate crime that occurred between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. Monday on Bradford Street.

A victim reported being attacked by three men who exited a vehicle while he was walking in the east end of Bradford Street during the early morning hours.

The victim spoke with police Monday afternoon and was evaluated by paramedics but did not require hospitalization.

Detectives are actively investigating the incident, police said.

All Provincetown police officers have been alerted to the incident, the department said.
