SPRINGFIELD — A 57-year-old Springfield man was arrested Saturday night on charges of violating an abuse prevention order.
Paul Gregory was taken into custody without incident at 10:50 p.m. June 14 in the parking lot at 6 Main Street, according to the Springfield Police Department.
Officers were checking on a suspicious vehicle when they determined Gregory was allegedly in violation of an abuse prevention order.
Gregory was transported to the Springfield Police Department for processing.
He was issued a criminal citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division, Windsor Unit on June 16 at 12:30 p.m.
Gregory was then transported to Southern State Correctional Facility where he was lodged on bail.
The incident was investigated by Officers Franchi, Singleton and Guzzo.
