HANCOCK — Sheriff Craig S. DuMond announced the arrest of a Village of Hancock man on multiple charges stemming from a domestic dispute involving a weapon.
On June 16, Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a reported domestic incident involving a male subject with a stab wound.
Upon arrival, Deputies found the victim with a stab wound to his leg area and cuts to his hands.
Deputies provided first aid until Hancock EMS arrived, whereby Hancock EMS then transported the victim to Wilson Hospital for further treatment.
Following the investigation, Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 63-year-old Alfredo L. Chico, and charged him with one count of menacing in the 2nd degree and one count of criminal possession of a weapon in the 4th degree, both Class A misdemeanors of the New York State Penal Law.
Chico was also charged with assault in the 2nd degree, a Class D felony of the New York State Penal Law.
Chico was arraigned in the Delaware County CAP Court where he was remanded to the Delaware County Correctional Facility in lieu of $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 secured bond.
