WESTON — Police are seeking to identify a suspect involved in package thefts from the Autumn Road neighborhood.
According to the Weston Police Department, two iPads valued at $1,000 each were stolen from a porch on Friday, May 23.
The items were delivered in the early afternoon and were taken minutes later by the suspect.
Authorities released an image of the person believed to be responsible for the thefts.
Police noted that package thefts have been fairly regular in this area.
The department recommends residents have higher value items shipped to secure pickup locations or require signatures for delivery.
The bag visible in the suspect’s possession is from an online retailer that sells such bags to the public and is not connected to the person’s employer, police clarified.
