TEWKSBURY — Two men were arrested on drug charges following an investigation by the Tewksbury Police Department and the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office.
Noe Ojeda Jr., 26, of Lowell, and Thomas V. Ferraro Jr., 49, of Tewksbury, were taken into custody on May 15 after police observed what they believed to be a drug sale in progress on Pike Street.
Ojeda is charged with distribution of a Class B drug, trafficking in 18 grams or more but less than 36 grams of cocaine, and trafficking in 18 grams or more of fentanyl.
Ferraro is charged with possession of a Class B drug, subsequent offense.
According to Chief Ryan Columbus, officers discovered 1.1 grams of crack cocaine, 33.8 grams of fentanyl, and $1,159 in cash during a search of Ojeda’s vehicle.
Police also determined that Ferraro had outstanding warrants from Framingham District Court for drug and motor vehicle charges.
Both men will be arraigned in Lowell District Court.
