HORSEHEADS — Firefighters used rescue tools to free a driver after a two-car collision at the intersection of Westinghouse Road and Gardner Road early Monday morning.
Engine Company 1034 from the Horseheads Fire/Rescue Department responded to the scene at approximately 6:35 a.m.
Upon arrival, crews deployed a TNT spreader tool to remove the driver’s side door of one vehicle, providing access to a patient requiring medical attention.
Erway Ambulance personnel treated the injured occupant at the scene.
The Horseheads Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
