Woman arrested for trespass, mischief at Tinmouth home

TINMOUTH — A Mendon woman was arrested after allegedly forcing her way into a residence on Vermont Route 140 late Monday night.

Vermont State Police troopers from the Rutland Barracks responded to a reported disturbance at approximately 11:31 p.m. on March 3.

Upon arrival, troopers identified the parties involved as Ashley Gove, 37, of Mendon, and Mary Gove, 59, and Gary Gove, 60, both of Tinmouth.

Investigation revealed Ashley Gove had unlawfully entered the residence without permission and damaged a door frame while forcing her way in.

Troopers later located Gove in Mendon and arrested her on charges of unlawful trespass into an occupied dwelling and unlawful mischief.

She was transported to the Rutland Barracks for processing and issued a citation to appear in Rutland County Superior Court at 12:30 p.m. on March 4.

Gove was then taken to the Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility where she was held on $1,000 bail.
