ROYALTON — At approximately 6:40 p.m. on March 2, troopers from the Vermont State Police’s Royalton Barracks conducted a traffic stop on Route 14 near Waterman Road.
The stop was related to a report of a vehicle driving erratically and crashing into a parked vehicle.
The driver, Cody F. Wyatt, 33, of Barre City, was found to be displaying signs of impairment.
Wyatt was also observed operating the vehicle in an allegedly grossly negligent manner.
After conducting an investigation, authorities arrested Wyatt.
He was transported to the Royalton Barracks for processing.
Wyatt received a criminal citation and is scheduled to appear in court to face charges of DUI – drug, gross negligent operation, and leaving the scene of an accident.
