Boston police seek public help to identify armed robbery suspect

BOSTON — Boston Police Department detectives assigned to District B-2 are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest in connection with an armed robbery that took place in Roxbury.

The robbery occurred around 1:59 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 7, near 450 Melnea Cass Blvd.

Authorities described the suspect as a black male who was wearing a red winter hat with fur on the front, a red plaid scarf, a black jacket, black pants, and black shoes at the time of the incident.

According to the police report, the suspect crossed the parking lot at the address and was last seen walking down Williams Street before making a right turn onto Washington Street.

The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the situation and urges anyone with information to contact District B-2 Detectives at (617) 343-4275.

The department assures that the identities of individuals who wish to remain anonymous will be protected throughout the investigation process.
